    Sepia photographic print of Lawrence Luther Martin during World War I in Vladivostok, Siberia, May 7, 1919. The photo was found in a letter Martin sent home to his wife, Edith. Martin was born in Park City, Utah in 1889. He lived on 355 Rosse Hill with his wife, Edith Nancarrow Martin, and their two daughters. Martin registered for the WWI draft on June 15, 1917 and was stationed at Camp Fremont in Palo Alto, California and Vladivostok, Siberia. He served until July 1919. When Martin returned from the war he was a miner. He died in 1979. (Image: 2016-6-146, Mary Martin Vincent Collection)
